Mark & Becky’s Ashridge House Wedding Photography & Film
Every aspect of this Ashridge House wedding was beautiful and it was an absolute pleasure to photograph and film the celebrations of this lovely couple. Ashridge House is a stunning English Heritage gem surrounded by woodland and gardens that date back to the late 18th Century. As preferred suppliers at Ashridge we love shooting here due to the beautiful range of locations that the venue offers. The main hall is a stunning backdrop for the ceremony – particularly when the staircase is so beautifully decorated with flowers (by talented and lovely florist Rebecca Marsala) and the gardens offer so many hidden spots for the time we spend with the couple on their own.
All of the details were gorgeous but we absolutely adored the dress by Julie Vino bridal and the shoes by Valentino – which were a little bit rock chick for a bride.
The day was full of laughter (particularly thanks to the best man’s speech) and a wonderfully happy atmosphere and they were blessed with fantastic weather which is so often the case for May weddings.
Mark and Becky, like many couples, were a little bit apprehensive about the couple session and appearing natural on camera but we reassured them that it is our responsibility to make them feel and look relaxed and they are delighted with the results.
We also ‘love’ the large light up letters on the dance floor (www.bespokelightupletters.co.uk) because they really add a great element to both the photography and film. We are very much looking forward to our next Ashridge House wedding which will also have fireworks!
Here is the 3 minute highlights film for the wedding and just a selection of their 1000 photographs!
