Destination Wedding Photography in the Seychelles
The time that we spent in the Seychelles with this very special Russian family had a huge impact on the type of wedding that Brent and I opted for when we got married in Dubrovnik. It was all about intimacy, quality time and a magical location.
The Seychelles holiday was an opportunity to bring the whole family together to celebrate the parents 30th Wedding Anniversary in a vows renewal ceremony on the stunning Petit Anse beach at The Four Seasons. We had already captured the Italian Destination Wedding of the eldest daughter Kate as well as the Russian wedding celebrations that they hosted at home in Saratov.
Not long before the holiday Anna, the middle daughter, made the decision to make the most of the tropical location and bring her July wedding forward and marry her fiancé Anton in the Seychelles because they loved the idea of a beach wedding ceremony.
February in the Seychelles can deliver unpredictable weather and the days we were shooting gave us sunshine, high humidity and absolutely torrential downpours – just part of the challenges of outdoor destination wedding photography! Anna and Anton’s wedding day was one of downpours which resulted in moody skies and dramatic photographs on the beach.
It was lovely to have the opportunity to shoot on other days when we had more typical golden hour and engagement photography on the beach and a stunning sunset from their villa’s infinity pool. We also captured their parents vow renewal which was super emotional for the 3 daughters to be a part of.
