byLumiere FAQs

How would you describe your style?
There are many, many labels used for wedding photography and films and we describe our signature style as fine art storytelling – which means we work hard to capture natural emotion and human connection in a beautiful and artistic way.    We want to tell the whole story of your day but also provide some beautiful stand alone images and moments that are timeless.  We work alongside other exceptional wedding suppliers and offer luxury and destination wedding films and photography.
What venues are you preferred suppliers for?

We are prepared suppliers for the following venues:

  • Blenheim Palace
  • Kensington Palace
  • Ashridge House
  • Bodleian Library
  • Brocket Hall
How much do you direct/pose your clients?
We believe in a collaborative approach and how much we direct varies from shoot to shoot.  We are as comfortable working with shy, self-conscious adults and children as we are with experienced models.  We promise to get the best out of you in a relaxed and effortless way.
What kind of products do you offer and does this include digital files?
We have fully embraced the digital era but we also still believe in the importance of beautiful printed products and have carefully chosen our luxury album and framing partners.   Our luxury albums are hand crafted by Queensberry in New Zealand – you can see an example on our blog here.
Do you have a license for your drone work?

Brent has a private pilots license and his PfCO with CAA approval to fly drones commercially.  He is also fully insured.

Do you only work within the UK?
We have worked all over the World and are always happy to travel.
What if we are planning a large event and need a larger production team?
Brent and I have a network of trusted photographers and cinematographers that we have worked with before and can, with sufficient notice, build a team according to the requirements of the brief.
